I'm Ingrid Turner, a Manchester-based photographer.

 

My love for taking pictures began with street photography, catching poignant moments and chance encounters, and this background is reflected in my event and charity photography.  I love capturing intimate, special moments that happen when people connect in spaces and places. These images offer a window into someone else's life and freeze unexpected moments of connection and spontaneity. Finding beauty, tenderness and poignancy in the ordinary is a key approach of my work.

My background in charity fundraising and marketing means I understand exactly what images are required for a variety of print and digital materials. I love producing emotive, compelling photos which showcase an organisation's services and demonstrate a positive impact.

 

Although my approach is discreet and unimposing, I know how to get the best results on shoots, and I’m just as happy to be more visible and take charge if needed.
